The founder of Chomis Gomis, Ivan Bugarin is an entrepreneur at heart. He helped start the family ice-cream shop in 2016 which became the experimental grounds for his famous chamoy recipe. He started selling little batches here and there through the store front of the ice-cream shop and it was received well by the many visitors. Soon they had people driving up to an hour just to buy a fresh batch. Seeing the growing popularity of the gummies mixed with chamoy, Ivan jumped all in. He bought thousands of gummy candies and created Chomis Gomis in 2020.

Now Chomis Gomis are sold in over 600 locations in Southern California from local liquor stores, gas stations and markets. The goal is to become a household name for candy that offers a variety of flavors. All candies are made by family members in small batches to ensure consistency, great taste and quality.
